Mr. Balaiah, 48 years old male patient had undergone a craniotomy surgery before. Few days later, an infection was noticed at the bone flap. After looking at the condition, Surgeon concluded the need for cranioplasty. The infected bone flap was removed at the hospital and patient/doctor noticed an asymmetrical skull.

Dr. Vikram M, a well-known Neurosurgeon at Sri Kara Hospital, concluded that the infected bone flap can be removed through Cranioplasty and the asymmetrical skull can be corrected with the use of Fitment Ring made up of ABS, matt finished and PSI (Patient Specific Implant) i.e customized Cranial Implant made up of PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate).
